On the Fiftieth day of Easter, we celebrate the Spirit, through whom and in whom the people of God are created and recreated.  Pentecost is sometimes called the church’s birthday, but might more appropriately be called its baptism day, since the gift of the Spirit is the fullness of baptism.  Our Lutheran worship is filled with festivity, color, and movement as we both conclude the Easter celebration and welcome anew the gift of the Holy Spirit.  Many worshipers wear red on the festival of Pentecost, recalling the red flames of the Holy Spirit.  So, come and share the Spirit… and wear your red!

Worship on Saturday, May 22 at 4 p.m. and Sunday, May 23 at 7:45 a.m. and 10 a.m.

The Rite of Confirmation will also be celebrated during 10:00 worship.
