YOUTH AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Sundays–

Children’s Message during 7:45 am and 10am service. Children’s activity bulletins and worship bags are available for our youngest members. These are geared to toddler and elementary aged children.

Kid’s Zone invites elementary and preschool aged children to step out of worship following the Children’s message. At Kid’s zone we participate in a variety of bible related activities, games and snacks. Children return to the Sanctuary before the end of service, usually during the offering.

Confirmation/ Affirmation of Baptism (during the school year) meets at 9am in the Youth Room and is geared towards Seventh and Eighth graders. Older youth who have not gone through confirmation are also invited to join us. We rotate lessons on the Bible and Luther’s Small Catechism in a two year program. Classes are led by LIFT Pastors and Youth Leaders.

Assisting During Worship, we love seeing children lead during worship. Families can sign up to be communion assistants and greeters. Those 4th grade and up may also be trained to acolyte. A special youth-led service takes place annually on Mother’s Day.
