BOOKWORMS – Next Book Review: September 23

CALLING ALL BOOKWORMS! The group has chosen the book for their next book review in September –  The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek  by Kim Michele Richardson

Richardson’s story is set in 1936 Kentucky, and tells the story of 19 year-old Cussy Carter as she joins the Pack Horse Library Project and becomes a librarian.  Cussy rides across slippery creek beds and up mountains to deliver reading material to the impoverished people across the eastern part of the state.

All are welcome to join this group. 

Participants are responsible for purchasing their own books. 

We will meet on Monday, September 23 at 2:00 p.m. in the church lounge for discussion and review.
