We always welcome new members to our group!
Bookworms meet every other month, and our next meeting will be on Monday, May 23 at 2:00 p.m. in the church lounge. We will discuss the book Double Down by Mike Gilbert, a resident of Fremont and member of Grace Lutheran.
The story takes place in Fremont, Ohio and the Salinas Valley of California and follows Evan Stone. Stone is a former teacher turned private investigator, who is hired to solve the murder of a childhood friend. The case develops into a wild search for the truth where he finds himself immersed in Hitler’s Germany and it’s connections to large pharmaceutical institutions in the United States.
