Monday Bible Study is back beginning Monday, February 10! For the next four weeks (Feb. 10, 17, 24, and March 2) we will meet at 11 a.m. in the Lounge. Then, beginning Monday, March 9, the class will meet at its original time of 1:15 p.m.
Pr. Jody and Nelda Bauer will lead this study using Bishop Daniel’s study on the Book of Acts. This six-session Bible study encourages you to open your Bible, gather with a group of friends, and learn what God desires to teach you. But, be very, very careful… because God’s Word has the power to transform people and communities from who we are into the people and communities that God longs for us to be!
The Bible verse John 20:21, will serve as the Northwest Ohio Synod 2020 Year of Mission memory verse. Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”(John 20:21)
This powerful verse reminds us that Jesus did not call us to be a settled church, but a church sent to participate in God’s mission!
